So we spent a while today updating all the info on Netflix, on the ACLU, on this, on that.

Actual conversation -

Me: (on NYPL website) Do we want to make this donation anonymously? Yes, of course!
Jenn: Wait, what?
Me: What what?
Jenn: Why would you do it anonymously!?
Me: Why wouldn't I do it anonymously?
Jenn: That's just so weird to me!
Me: Well, it can't be that weird, because there's an option to do it. I always do this anonymously.
Jenn: Without even checking to see if that's a problem?
Me: Well... yeah. It didn't occur to me that you might not want to do it anonymously!
Jenn: That's so weird!
Me: Well. I've got an idea. I can put in another name.
Jenn: Too late!
Me: Fuck it. But whatever, I'm immediately changing my info at DonorsChoose. From now on, instead of anonymous, all my donations are coming from Lex Luthor.
Jenn: Maybe Bruce Wayne?
Me: MAYBE DARTH VADER!

Of course, half the charities I donate to right now have prominent buttons explaining we can donate in Pence's name. Lex Luthor is clearly the lesser of those two evils.
