People are justifiably worried about Trump's effect on climate change.

And some of those same people are also worried that Trump will nuke the Middle East to glass, thus setting off WW3.

But wait! Only one of those things can happen.

Either global warming continues apace until we all drown or we enter a prolonged nuclear winter and nobody ever has to worry about coastal flooding ever again! So stop worrying, and love the bomb. There is a very bright side to global thermonuclear war, and I've found it! And unlike global warming, at least it will be over quickly.

There's another alternative, y'know. The Yellowstone Supervolcano (http://www.livescience.com/20714-yellowstone-supervolcano-eruption.html) could give us a decade of Fimbulwinter without any nukes. Of course, after that's over, global warming will proceed apace, because this is an interglacial period, after all.

We could also get hit by an asteroid, or somebody could pull the plug on the entire ill-conceived "SimUniverse" we're trapped in. Trump could dedicate the next four years to pretending to be a penguin. (It'd be an improvement.) I mean, technically, I suppose lots of things could happen, but the supervolcano exploding is not as high a likelihood as we all secretly worry it is. I'd like to think that WW3 isn't very likely either, but.
