It actually managed to get my mind off of high school admissions!

Buuuut now it's back to the grindstone. Ana must get into a decent high school. Decent high school = good college, preferably out of the country.

by the time Ana finishes high school, we'll be so sick of Trump, we'll elect a democratic president.

One can only hope. However, the people who elected Trump aren't going anywhere. And I don't just mean "middle America", I mean the rising alt-right hordes.

The far right is on the rise all over the world, as near as I can tell, but some places are still safer than others. And they may well have to get off the eastern seaboard anyway as the seas rise, so might as well make a big move all at once.
