Been watching Daredevil

conulyIt's really not a good show for watching while you do something else. And I don't mean the fight scenes, which I habitually ignore anyway. The characters on that show spend an awful lot of time off doing things by themselves, and even when they're in company with other people... the truth is, they don't interact all that much. So the show alternates between ponderous silence, extended fight scenes, and occasional bouts of dialog wedged in for context. I'm sure their isolation from each other is symbolic or whatever... maybe? Which is frustrating, because I don't like to watch the fight scenes all that much. I normally wait until the talking starts up again, but on this show, I can't do that.
Anyway, as was the case last season, I'm continually impressed by Foggy's bravery. I mean, Matt does what he does because he's crazy or obsessed or whatever, and our friend the Punisher clearly needs to get out more, and who the heck knows what motivates Karen, but Foggy is fully aware that he's in over his head, and he doesn't want to be there, but he keeps pushing through. Good for him.
