Ana went with me, and was surprised to find out that hanging out for the 2+ hours it takes for the van to show up (unlike some people, I can't be bothered getting up to be there at 4am. 5:30 is plenty early) is fun, like a whole community. That's why I didn't mind taking this cat, actually, because it *is* just like that! We were lucky this morning, though, stepped out the door and Lovie ran right up. I had been worried we'd have to search for her.
Poor cat has a recurring eye infection from an old injury. The vet comped me some antibiotics and said same thing I'd told my neighbor, now that she has the cone collar on and can't pick at it that eye should heal right up. And after all that, I completely forgot to pay them! I'll wait until they're in the area again, pay them then. It's only $5, it won't break the bank if they have to wait until next month to get it. I could just mail it, but not only would that cost more but I simply don't see the point in paying my bill if they don't see me pay it and know I did it. Not for a little bill like that, anyway.
