1. I have just found out about [community profile] lands_of_magic, which appears to be starting a new round.

2. The "Be the First" challenge is also active right now. They don't appear to have a DW mirror.

3. I'm pleased to say that I've remembered to post at [community profile] dailyprompt almost every day that nobody else did. That's a lot of prompts!

And I saw him, removed the garbage bag, and said "Finn! Bad dog!" while doing "shame on you" fingers. (Not seriously, I mean. Obviously we're the bad humans, leaving the tempting bag out where he can get it.)

Apparently Eva had never seen this before, and wanted to know why I was rubbing one finger over the other at our dog. And here I thought everybody knew that!

But I haven't seen it in a while. It's like another thing that used to be fairly ubiquitous, the image of a finger with a string around it meaning a "reminder". Of course, people joked about tying a string around your finger to remember things, but I doubt anybody ever really did it, and maybe that's why it fell out of use. Or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Is evil.

Hopefully I don't need to restate that here.

We're heading up on April, and I thought it'd be "fun" to email their corporate sponsors asking them to knock it off and sponsor some other autism-centered organization. One that isn't evil.

They do list corporate partners on their site, but only those which donate 25k or more, and I know there are others. Many times I've had the unpleasant experience of picking up a bag of potato chips or spinach in the store and then realizing the full horror of what I was about to do.

Does anybody know the names of any others, smaller-scale but still bigger, presumably, than individual donors and more likely to pay attention to emails?
