That's weird.

My first Kindle, the one I thought was totally busted and I planned to take apart and try to repair for fun? It's... working again. Just out of the blue. Last night I plugged it in, today it - as usual - didn't turn on and the screen still said uncharged, and then a few hours after unplugging it all of a sudden the screensaver changed and I was able to turn it on. Weird, weird, weird.

I'm here fervently hoping that there is NO WAY 2018 will be worse than 2017 turned out to be. Fingers crossed everybody. (Also, every new keyboard is sized slightly differently and my fingers are still rebelling against this one. Backspace too small. Enter way too large. Geez.)
