In the past three hours, I've learned how to make exactly... uh...

Three string figures! Go me!

There's this one I'm trying to figure out where you're basically crocheting the string around your fingers and then unraveling it for effect, and I just can't do it.

(See, when Elise started to look bad, but before we took her to the hospital (she's home now, btw), we thought to play cat's cradle to keep her from itching, but none of us knew how, so I've since googled it and am now amusing myself well past my bedtime. But it *is* fun, and I have a nice sense of accomplishment about it all!)
