Somebody accused me of wanting to name all the people I consider cool as aspie. Well, that may be what I want, but it's not what I do. Regardless of whether or not Lilo is aspie, there's plenty of TV/book characters whom I admire and/or think are cool, and do not consider aspie.

Incidentally, am I the only one who likes the name Magrat? I'd name my kid that, if I planned on having kids. Reason # I-don't-know to have kids, I'd be terribly cruel to them.

Where do I go to complain about the "deleted journal" message? The one that says "This journal has been deleted. If you are NAME, you have a period of 30 days from the deletion time to undelete the journal. After 30 days we will delete all content permanently from our servers."?

Because that's just not true. And I'm irked. Is it lj_userdoc? Or the ideas people? Or what?

Please, if you like those Diane Duane books, please join [livejournal.com profile] youngwizards. I feel so bad to see it so neglected. You can start book-related-drama*, I promise! Criticize her books! Tell them what you think of, say, A Wizard Alone, which *nobody* ever seems to mention, or what you think of the summer-that-lasted-several-years.

Or at least vote in the poll.

Reading JKR's site, she has some new stuff about squibs up (told you that Mrs. Figg never really saw the dementors, and couldn't if she'd been there). Among other things, she says that squibs are so rare because "magic is a dominant and resilient gene".Read more... )
