Somebody accused me of wanting to name all the people I consider cool as aspie. Well, that may be what I want, but it's not what I do. Regardless of whether or not Lilo is aspie, there's plenty of TV/book characters whom I admire and/or think are cool, and do not consider aspie.

For example, Buffy's Willow. Yes, she's geeky (and was much cooler when she was a geek and not a witch), but I wouldn't say she's anywhere near aspie.

Or Daniel Jackson? The man is a linguist, for crying out loud, and hot, and so not-aspie.

Or Jenn? Coolest person I know. Not aspie. At all. Moving on!

Luna Lovegood and Neville? Okay, I joke around, but I don't really think either of them fits the aspie persona. And they're my favorite characters in those books.

Darth Vader? Not aspie.

Ponder Stibbons? Magrat? William Worde? Not, not, not aspie.

See? Plenty of cool people. Some of them are quite weird. And I'd never dream of considering them on the spectrum in any way, shape, or form.

*feels better*

Incidentally, am I the only one who likes the name Magrat? I'd name my kid that, if I planned on having kids. Reason # I-don't-know to have kids, I'd be terribly cruel to them.
