I didn't realize it, but there are apparently free tennis lessons for children at Silver Lake

Woo hoo, free lessons; that's always nice! Are your girlies interested in taking them?

My little girls I look after - not so little now; 7 and almost-11 - are all hyped for the library's Summer Reading Program. They were major players in that last year, won a bunch of books and tacky little plastic trinkets, so they've got their beady little eyes fixed on doing the same and more again this summer.

Evangeline's not actually old enough, but I'll see when I show up the first day how strict they are about it.

Ana's pretty interested, but for the first week I'm not even giving her a choice. It's an excuse to get out of the house in the morning twice a week, we're doing it, end of story. We'll see if she likes it the second week :) I think she will, her friend Olivia does tennis and she's mentioned it a few times.
