And she's reading books harder than that at home. So what it means is "Wow, she's a smart kiddo!"

And we knew that, of course, although we may have been better off not knowing the specifics. Still, needs must.

The Itty Bitty Kitty is getting more comfortable - exploring instead of sitting on my lap begging for attention, and even playing a little. We need to move him out of here. Guys, I wouldn't ask for help if I didn't urgently need it! I'll now throw in some free cat toys and food if he's claimed today.

Same here, and we can't turn into krazy kat people. Can't afford it. They're already letting us off the hook having two cats and charging us for one.

Oh, hey, sorry to LJ invade, I followed you here from Newyorkers. I was actually looking for contact info for you and noticed that you still had the little guy.

We might be able to take him...our poor kitty just passed away a couple of days ago and it's a little soon, but our house feels very empty of feline right now. I really need to have a talk with the husband first to see how he feels about it though. I shot him an email to see how he was feeling.

Well, you're top of the list unless my backup plan of "sneak the cat into a friend's house because she already has three kitties and won't notice a fourth until it's too late" is actually doable.

I think she'd probably notice a fourth... they have a way of making "feed me" noises. ;)

The husband is willing to at least have a discussion about making a new kitty friend, so I'll talk with him about it tonight.

Is he okay with you for another couple of days if needed? Even if we can take him, I don't think we can before the weekend due to our varied scheduling crap, although we do have a car and a cat carrier so we can pick him up if we decide to take him.

I'm fine with that, though please keep me posted - finally I have two people wanting a cat, and it took me long enough that I don't want to let either of you drop until I have a confirmation from at least ONE of you. I'll tell the-other-person there's somebody else asking about the kitty as well.

Great. If the other person is firm, and they can get him before we decide, just let us know. I don't want him to lose out on a good home because we're trying to make up our minds.
