I don't follow ozarque, because she's never struck me as awesome. I read the link, and I don't get what's supposed to be awesome about it. Can you clue me in?

OK, yeah, I can see that. Myself, "nice" is not particularly in my value system, so it's sort of like seeing someone have the world's largest tea cup collection, which, yes, is awesome in a way, but also sorta gratuitous, in a "is this the best use of yourself that you can find?" sort of way. Except I don't think collecting tea cups has a downside, unlike being nice.

Well, we can't agree on everything. Arguing about other people's awesome quotient seems more than a little pointless. The winner would get - what, a lollipop?

I trouble to ask because, sometimes, I learn something about the value system to apply to a thing to extract maximum value. I'm never actually like jazz, but I've gotten really well educated about what there is to like in jazz, and what makes jazz good, when it's good, thanks to friends who educated me. See, I would never have noticed the nice thing if you hadn't told me, so now I know. (Thanks!)
