Before school started, Jenn had said she thought Evangeline would have an easier time of it than Ana because "she's so outgoing". Which I guess she is, but Evangeline meanwhile was worried she wouldn't make any friends, probably because she mostly plays with her sister and her friends are, by default, Ana's friends.
On Ana's first day of school she came out hugging a new friend, and she made a bundle of friends within the first week.
Evangeline's first day she said... she didn't know who was in her class. The next day she said she didn't have any friends yet. Yesterday she finally was able to point to one person and say that he was in her class, but "we're not friends". And today, finally, finally, she said goodbye to somebody! "Connie, that's my friend in my class".
I am so happy now :)
