After the girls woke me up at 6:30, I made a new rule:

IF they come downstairs and Nanen is in bed sleeping, then they have to go bug their parents.

Otherwise, if Nanen is awake or if she's gone, they can wake me up.

This rule has worked splendidly. A few weeks ago, I woke up before they did (they really overslept) and I went upstairs to check on them. As I passed their room, I noticed through the crack in the door that Evangeline's hammock was wiggling, so I stood very quietly to watch.

The hammock wiggled, and Evangeline half fell, half climbed out. Then she immediately plodded over to her sister's hammock. *pokepokepoke* "Ana? Ana? Are you awake? Ana?" *pokepokepoke*

Ana: *mumblemumblemumble*
Evangeline: Ana? Can I come in?
Ana: NO! *mumblemumbleflipovermumble*
Evangeline: *pokepokepoke* I'm coming in.
Ana: no...
Evangeline: *climbclimbclimb*
Evangeline: *snugglesnugglesnuggle*

Then they fell back asleep, so I went to lie down in my sister's room for a few minutes. When the girls got up, the first thing Ana said is "Let's go downstairs and see if we can wake up Connie." So I waited until they were in the kitchen before calling out "Morning!" at them. Boy, did they jump!

That is so cute. I love that her sister just let her snuggle in with her. Maelle would pull Kira's hair and Kira would cry and push her on the floor...

You must post pictures of these hammocks. I can't imagine this very well but it sounds so cool!
