When I was a kid, we lived in a part of the city that was full of dragonflies, but no lightning bugs. Then we moved here, and the situation was different. We have a lot of praying mantises as well. And salamanders, and snakes (I say a lot, but I've only ever seen three wild snakes in my life, so you may scoff now).
Sticks, now. Can't tear the girls away from sticks.
