It is interesting because it is something concrete you can point to to say "See, That Organization acts to do things that harm autistic children and their families" in a way that "Look, demeaning language over here!" doesn't.

(Not that their offensive language shouldn't grab attention, it just *doesn't* grab it for some people.)
