I think I'll celebrate by doing some of Jenn's laundry. Because she hasn't had time, and the baby's out of clean clothes. I mean *out* of clean clothes. Ana's not doing so great either.

And perhaps I'll buy her some groceries. Not for her, but for me during the day, since Jenn hasn't done her shopping yet either. I'm thinking 10 pounds of potatoes (I love potatoes), a few dozen eggs (I love eggs), some pasta (I love pasta), some peanut butter sandwich stuff (I love peanut butter sandwiches), some fruit (I love fruit) and some applesauce or yogurt (I hate it, but it's portable and the kid likes it). That shouldn't cost me *that* much, should it?

Perhaps I'll also buy stuff for bagels and lox, and eat it in front of her and not let her have any. Because I'm mean.

I used that trick today to get Ana to eat her lunch. She didn't want to eat anything but popcorn or candy. Candy wasn't happening, and popcorn... it's a healthy snack, but not a meal. So I told her I'd eat her applesauce, and I was glad she didn't want it, because it was *mine* and She Couldn't Have Any. *laughs* Her "small bite" turned into the whole damn thing, a trick she repeated over the chickpeas. The weak are easy to control.

Oh, and if anybody has a spare $450, Jenn somehow can't pay her fuel bill. I know *I* have been turning the heat off in that apartment most days - I find that even with the heat ostensibly off, it's just too hot in there most of the time.

Oh, and if anybody knows how I can KILL HER UPS GUY, that'd be great. The guy is a complete incompetant. Ask me why we didn't go anywhere Thursday....

Has she checked into HEAP? Might be an option, even people with income can get it...

Mmm... Harvest peach yogurt... ^_^
And that's a hilarious trick! What are you going to do once it stops working?

Totally unrelated to your post:

...but I seem to remember that you talked about the Harry Potter series and some of the continuity errors sometimes...and I think I just realized a whopper that slipped by both Rowlings and the editors.

Given, Hogsmeade is the ONLY all-wizard settlement in Britain.
Given, at the Quidditch World Cup any number of wizards seemed hopelessly inept at dressing like Muggles. (Also noted in the "memories" section of Half-Blood Prince.)
Query, if all these wizards have no idea how to dress to blend in with Muggles, where the hell are they all living? Hogsmeade isn't that big, is it? They don't all have invisibility cloaks, do they? So...??
