A movie out of the Ramona books?

This will either be Very Very Good, or Very Very Bad.

In favor: Narnia movie is said to rock. I'm still debating where my ethics lie, and my finances.
Against: Cheaper by the Dozen sucked, and was a travesty. A travesty, I say.

I expect "Very very bad." Hyperactive editing, a "now" pop soundtrack, lots of pratfalls, MTV pacing and "hip" dialogue. Maybe even a talking dog or two - after all, kids just love CGI - bumbling parents, and probably a subplot involving foolish gangsters, evil teachers, aliens, and a few dream sequences. Look at what they did to Stuart Little and Dennis the Menace. Expect total crap. I do.
