Okay, I'm cheating. This quote certainly should inspire the average child to sheer terror. Some guy? Watching me sleep? Watching my every move? Then having the nerve to judge me? Physician, heal thyself!

I don't get why so many people find that such a romantic song, given that it's about stalking someone.

I remember hating that song when I was a kid in the 80s. I hated the lyrics. Then later I found out that the Police were actually quite chagrined to find out that it was considered this great romantic love song (it was supposed to be about a creepy stalker) and was being played at weddings everywhere, and they actually recorded "If you love someone, set them free" in response to that.

Hearing about that made me feel so vindicated.
