I'll do my best to see the Narnia movie. I hope you're happy!
It's been a while since I've read the books, so at least it can't ruin anything. Probably. Well, not worse than realizing that they were just chock-full of Christian symbolism did. Symbolism. What a way to ruin a good book....

Date: 2005-12-01 04:41 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, Disney has chosen to play the religion card (while pretending they're not (http://washingtontimes.com/national/20051130-111658-3104r.htm), in other markets (http://newsvote.bbc.co.uk/mpapps/pagetools/print/news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/4443248.stm)). So they're not only pushing it as a great Christian movie, they're lying about promoting it as a Christian movie at all.
And that just leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.
