People can't be reading this right. They simply can't. This must be an early April Fool's joke. Or yellow journalism gone astray. Or something.

*shakes head*

Three more fucking years. That's all I'm giving it. Then I'm moving, and not to fucking Atlanta. Somewhere out of this damned country. I have friends out of the country. You can just be sitting around expecting a long-term houseguest until the world goes sane again.

I think so. Even after reading and re-reading it, I can't get even the concept to make sense to me.

I think it's not right, and the fact that that senator is from my state makes me feel faintly ill. I know he says it's to prevent "lawsuit abuse", but a significant part of me can't help but wonder if he just wants those detained to "disappear".

If someone is illegally detained, that person should have the right to contest it, period. And, I'm worried about the implications it has for, well, the "rest of us". I don't think I'm an "enemy of the state", but who knows at the rate things are going?

I think this is incoherent. Why am I not in bed? Ah, I tried.
