I'm thinking, since we know this idiot's address, somebody ought to just sneak into the yard and take all the dogs. "His" dog doesn't deserve this treatment anymore than the puppies do.

Heck, if he does try this, I hope the humane society does find out, somehow rescues the puppies in time, siezes his dog, and fines him to the fullest! Seeing that in a roundabout way he says his dog is a pit bull, I bet he's the kind who likes the "vicious guard dog/fighter" type and treats her as such.

A friend of mine pointed out a webjournal entry someone made about his dog becoming pregnant and his intent NOT to care for the puppies and even threatening to kill them out of spite for some people's comments on this.

Here is the body of his main journal entry regarding this:
"A stray dog got into my yard and got my pit bull pregnant and she's about to have pups. This is definitely not a good thing. For one, the dog wasn't a pit bull which makes the pups mixed. Secondly, I will not take care of them. Lastly, no one wants a mixed dog and the pound won't take them until they are six weeks old. This leaves me in an interesting predicament. Either I can, take care of the dogs for six weeks and take them to the pound, give them away, take care of them, or kill them. I'm just going to say now that I won't take care of them for any amount of time, and since no one wants them, that only leaves me with one option. I feel bad for what I'm going to have to do, but there is simply nothing I can about it. I'll give the dogs one chance at living a full life. Anyone that wishes to adopt one of these dogs can do so by contacting me immediately. The one's that aren't adopted are going to go for a long swim on the river in a plastic bag. She's due in a day or two so I suggest you get ahold of me if you want to save one. Anyone that decides they want one can have it for free but if it is not picked up with in one week of birth, it will join it's kinfolk. Thanks and have a great day."

I don't have any ill will against this person unless he does intend to carry this out, and I would only want justice to be served if he indeed is guilty of intending to do this. From what little I know of this situation, if he is not willing to care for the puppies and does intend to kill them, he is not fit to own ANY pet.
