So, I looked up my old elementary school on a whim. Here's what I found. (Warning, it's a PDF. This is more warning than they gave. How polite of them!) Can anybody tell me what font that is? Because it isn't Times New Roman.

Who's making font choices around here? Comic sans is just that. Comic. It does not belong on official reports. (Oh, and PDFs? Need to die. Those things slow down my computer like whoa. And another question. Who started that phrase and why?)

Sorry, but I have to disagree. PDFs kick ASS.

Though I do agree Comic Sans sucks.

Can they be viewed with something other than Adobe Acrobat? Because that's what really kills my poor Ardath here.

Eee, .pdfs are a godsend when it comes to out-of-print RPG books. More of my collection is on my computer than on my bookshelf, frankly. It's better than waiting years for a copy to go up on eBay and having to pay ridiculous sums of money, anyway.

The format was created and developed by Adobe, which is why Acrobat is the most prolific reader, but it's apparantly open standard, so alternatives exist... Wikipedia has a bunch that are availible for free. Maybe one of those would be more compatable with your computer?
