There's a mutating virus going around that causes people to wantonly change their usernames. If you feel any of the following symptoms, please disconnect your computer until it goes away:

1. A desire to change your username
2. A willingness to spend $15 US on a username change
3. A general idea that your username should match a. your real name b. your email or c. your latest fandom

This virus is very dangerous and may disturb casual viewers of your journal. Please, if you feel you are infected, do not succumb!

see, what all those silly renamers should've done was just get here early enough to get their desired username in the first place! that's what i did for ursamajor, and, well, seeing as i've had the ursamajor lj for almost five years now, and that was my default webmail login and irc nick for four years before that, i don't think it's going anywhere. :)
