I do disapprove of parents who do that. I can completely understand that sentiment. But the baby who is breastfeeding probably isn't yelling, screaming, making a fuss, or otherwise being obnoxious.

I believe that you should try to take your children into situations you think they can handle appropriately (don't take them to a movie if they can't keep quiet during it, wait til they're older, etc.) and removing them if they turn out to be unable to handle something you thought they could.

But as you said, that doesn't seem to be the breastfeeding argument.
