Date: 2005-03-16 08:07 pm (UTC)Vocabulary building happens naturally and easily if you just use your full vocabulary around the child. Not any special effort, you just don't go through effort to avoid terms, and define on demand. Because my family had good vocabularies, I had one with no effort.
I don't recall ever being read to at bedtime though. I think that'd have been nice.
