Like we need this!

(Put it on my wishlist anyway, because part of the proceeds go to a good cause, and besides, any book that includes the line "read to your bunny and your bunny will read to you" is worth getting, no matter the text/content of the rest of it)

I definitely am in favor of reading to children... but not quite as much as they'd like to be read to. Part of the motivation for learning to read for myself and some others I know was that I couldn't always get someone to read to me when I wanted to.

Half an hour isn't too much. I just was making a related point. Read to your child, read a lot, but not necessarily always on demand.

Vocabulary building happens naturally and easily if you just use your full vocabulary around the child. Not any special effort, you just don't go through effort to avoid terms, and define on demand. Because my family had good vocabularies, I had one with no effort.

I don't recall ever being read to at bedtime though. I think that'd have been nice.

^Nevermind.

I was able to open it in another browser.
I wonder why Avant is acting up all of the sudden.
