I like apples. Green grapes are okay, but purple grapes are nasty. This doesn't sound like an improvement on the apple.

First Hand Experience : They are utterly nasty.
They taste like grape flavored medicine, except mediocrely juicy. Don't waste your money.

Yeah, I saw those at Sam's Club. They smell from 5 feet away of that fake grape flavoring, which as the article says they are bathed in. Honestly I don't want to buy a fruit that has artifical flavorings that have to be listed on the packaging.

Just feed the kids those ickle red apples (there are good red apples. seriously. they're very mild and kinda soft.). Or Greeeen apples. with dip.

All kids like dipping foods. (or at least a solid 90-95%.)

I was a kid with a massive sweet tooth. If there wasn't sugar in there somewhere, I wouldn't eat it, no way, no how.

Fortunately, my tastes have matured, and while I still enjoy the odd caramel, I much prefer to narf my kiwis and bananas and strawberries as they are.

I still like my strawberries sliced, sugared, and in a vanilla-milk solution.

mmm.
