Gargoyle genetics...

There's one basic Gargoyle "design" - look at Goliath, and Demona, and most of the others. But what about Lexington? His arms are attatched to the wings, not separate. And Bronx? He's a dog, AND a gargoyle. How does this work, exactly?

And I know there's other "designs". Remember the gargoyles they met in S. America?

Edit: And am I the only one who thinks it's weird how quickly the gargoyles took to using names?

Yeah. The weird thing is when you discover that one of the hatchlings at Avalon is also a dog-goyle.

Not that I've ever seen! Dogoyles are the only animals they show.

Different breeds? Sub-species? Bronx is probably more of a distantly-related species, like a monkey to a human.

But what happens if a Lexington-style does it with a standard-style (Demona) and she gets gargoyly knocked up? What would the hatchling look like?

Maybe they can't interbreed. Or maybe Demona-style genes are dominant and Lexington-style genes are recessive, so that the kids would probably be Demona-style but have Lexington-genes lurking about.

Gargoyles don't acknowledge parentage. Probably wise, considering that they're hatched communally. But we know that Angela is Demona and Goliath's love child. This is proven by the fact that she looks like Demona with Goliath's coloring.

I love Demona down to her little psycho-bitch toes, but I was a Goliath/Elisa 'shipper by, like, the end of the MOVIE.

I don't know if it was made before or after the series. Hell, maybe it's just the first few episodes squished together. It was good, though, and the first I saw of Gargoyles. Wish I still had my copy.
