Gargoyle genetics...

There's one basic Gargoyle "design" - look at Goliath, and Demona, and most of the others. But what about Lexington? His arms are attatched to the wings, not separate. And Bronx? He's a dog, AND a gargoyle. How does this work, exactly?

And I know there's other "designs". Remember the gargoyles they met in S. America?

Edit: And am I the only one who thinks it's weird how quickly the gargoyles took to using names?

Yeah. The weird thing is when you discover that one of the hatchlings at Avalon is also a dog-goyle.

Gargoyle genetics hurts my head. ;-)

Yes, but that makes you wonder if they're related to the rest of the gargoyles or a different species, like dogs and humans!

Not that I've ever seen! Dogoyles are the only animals they show.

Err, I meant -goyle animals earlier.

Hypotheticall? I should think so! But who knows. Maybe I'll ask m'friend to draw one! hah!

Different breeds? Sub-species? Bronx is probably more of a distantly-related species, like a monkey to a human.

Maybe they can't interbreed. Or maybe Demona-style genes are dominant and Lexington-style genes are recessive, so that the kids would probably be Demona-style but have Lexington-genes lurking about.

Just who DID parent those eggs in the rookery?

I love Demona down to her little psycho-bitch toes, but I was a Goliath/Elisa 'shipper by, like, the end of the MOVIE.

If only I knew of the wonders of the Internet back then.

Yeah.

I don't know if it was made before or after the series. Hell, maybe it's just the first few episodes squished together. It was good, though, and the first I saw of Gargoyles. Wish I still had my copy.

it's the first few episodes stuck together and kinda nicer.

:D
