I can understand wanting (and expecting) compensation if you have a permanent account. You paid for that. But listen closely: if you have a free or early adopter account, you did not pay for anything. You did not lose money for the time that LJ was down. Yes, it sucks, yes, I can see how you were distraught and traumatised - but you do not deserve compensation. YOU SPENT AND LOST NO MONEY.

Oh, and I have a paid account, but I thought the compensation was a bit excessive. (Doesn't mean I felt bad about taking it, though.)
