So I mentioned what really interests me right now, the concept of the "democratic school". (I got the names wrong of the famous one, it's either Summerhill or Sudbury. Sorry.) This is a placeholder post for the one on that subject that I'll get around to when I'm slightly more awake, 'k? Until then, feel free to ramble about education or... I don't know, whatever.

Not sure if you're referring to a specific school, but Avalon's a democratic school if I've ever seen one...

It's a type of educational idea. And I'd say Avalon probably qualifies.
