So I mentioned what really interests me right now, the concept of the "democratic school". (I got the names wrong of the famous one, it's either Summerhill or Sudbury. Sorry.) This is a placeholder post for the one on that subject that I'll get around to when I'm slightly more awake, 'k? Until then, feel free to ramble about education or... I don't know, whatever.

Sudbury Valley (http://www.sudval.org/) - my supervisor at my campus job is working on setting up a school based on the Sudbury model, and he's talked with me about it from time to time. Never heard of Summerhill, but it might also be one. *shrug*
