Hey cool, this (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=huppie&defid=548116) came up when I googled "chaos_by_design".

In some circles in my life I probably have been. Unpopularity counts as infamy, right?

I hate googling my username. I invariably get embarassing flamewars I participated in almost a decade ago on Usenet.

Or embarassing flamewars I participated in two weeks ago on LiveJournal. Same thing. ;)

When I google my real name, I get a bunch of Dutch porn sites featuring older women. Because my last name means "older" in Dutch. -_-

I get... maladaptive behavior in children, mostly.

Darn, I wanted to find myself!

When I google my username, I get sites in a huge number of languages including German, Inuit, Chinese and Hebrew. I've found out that 'miut' means 'the people of' in Inuit, 'limitation' in Hebrew, and 'mouse' in Russian (I think). I actually chose it from the name of a very obscure Ancient Egyptian for its meaning of 'kitten'.

I rarely find anything related to me, though. I am not particularly famous or infamous, I think.

You're right, because I found a post on [livejournal.com profile] otf_wank, all about me and the big fight I got into on [livejournal.com profile] aspergers just before I left that community last Winter. LOL, well, yeah, it WAS a stupid fight - that's why I left; the realization struck me that if I stayed, I'd just keep getting into more of the same kind of stupid fights, and there wasn't any point to it. So I don't mind it being called "wank"; that's actually perfectly accurate.

Interesting to see that there's another Elenbarathi out there, though I think she may actually be an NPC in someone's game. I've played my character Elenbarathi in Castle Beware since 1999, so there are a number of links to her too. The name's from Tolkien, so it's not like I have any sort of exclusive claim on it.

Despite knowing EOFs is some sort of scientific thingy, I googled anyway and discovered I'm the European Oldies Football Club (original name in German, as it's a German club, does make eofs not eofc ;0)

The irony most certainly doesn't escape me.
