Got a handout in English. I can't just say it, I can't even just think it. I shout it out:

"Oh, god, not Comic sans!"

*pause*

Professor: What?
Me: *thinking: oops... * Um... the font?
Professor: Well, I like that font.
Me: *headdesk*

It also seems to be the Official Font of the Brooklyn College Library.

I need to get one of those stickers for my laptop. That'd be nice.

No, for a few reasons.

1. It's your journal. Not a class, nothing that should look professional.
2. I can change my default font so that everything appears in whichever font *I've* picked. Not so in class, for stuff that I get on paper.

I'm willing to change it if it gets on people's nerves. I just like the extra little "me" in the style of it, since I'm one of those oddballs who likes Comic Sans, and I like Lucida fonts too, among other less-known ones. Then again, I'm fluent in reading and writing (not just typing) Symbol font. My real journals get Symbol-font style if I write something that if someone's determined to read it they'll have to decode it first. :-p I'm not going to do THAT in my LJ. *LOL*
