Old family friend, haven't seen her in F O R E V E R ! so this was a big deal. More to say about her, but only with permission, so she has to POST. *nodnodnod*

Anyway, made a limey beef, very good, could've had some more pepper, though. *ducks* I really am getting the hang of this cooking thing. Ana, unfortunately, really wanted to eat real food today, so she was cranky all through the dinner because we wouldn't let her have any. Poor baby.

Also, I've decided, I need to either transfer out of BC or start lying. EVERYONE my mom knows went there. Gale's mom asked, and then immediately started singing

B is for the B in Brooklyn College...
R is for the R in Brooklyn College...

Very annoying. Especially as she stopped there, so I don't even know what the other letters stand for!

And she wore too much perfume, of course. Luckily *she* left early, so I just went outside for a bit to let it wear out of my system. Gale went with me, so I wasn't even being anti-social! Yay! I do have to deal with her mom, though... she's one of the few people left who calls Jenn Ginger. Can't kill her off. *sighs*

DESPITE WHAT THE IDIOTS AT THE FERRY TERMINAL SEEM TO THINK, MOMENTARILY DOES NOT MEAN "IN A MOMENT". IT MEANS, RATHER, "FOR A VERY SHORT TIME".

So when the ferry is loading "momentarily", what they mean is the door is closing a second after it opens.
