Old family friend, haven't seen her in F O R E V E R ! so this was a big deal. More to say about her, but only with permission, so she has to POST. *nodnodnod*

Anyway, made a limey beef, very good, could've had some more pepper, though. *ducks* I really am getting the hang of this cooking thing. Ana, unfortunately, really wanted to eat real food today, so she was cranky all through the dinner because we wouldn't let her have any. Poor baby.

Also, I've decided, I need to either transfer out of BC or start lying. EVERYONE my mom knows went there. Gale's mom asked, and then immediately started singing

Very annoying. Especially as she stopped there, so I don't even know what the other letters stand for!

And she wore too much perfume, of course. Luckily *she* left early, so I just went outside for a bit to let it wear out of my system. Gale went with me, so I wasn't even being anti-social! Yay! I do have to deal with her mom, though... she's one of the few people left who calls Jenn Ginger. Can't kill her off. *sighs*

Recipe... What is this recipe of which you speak? I cooked some beef, which had been marinated in vinegar and lemon juice with pepper, a lot of cinnamon and an onion, stir-fried some carrots (thinly sliced) with some ginger, then added the peppers (two green, one red), then the scallions (a bunch, chopped), then the beef again with some limes sliced up. Oh, and a green chile.

And it would've had cilantro but there was none at the Western Beef, so it didn't get any. *sighs* Cilantro is GOOOOOOOOD.
