So, in continuing birdfeeder craziness

Yesterday I didn't put out more seed because it was rainy and all. And so they absolutely polished off the suet I'd put out before the drizzle started.

I hope it was just the lack of birdseed, because the previous suet cake - raisin flavored instead of mealworm flavored - lasted a week and I cannot actually put it out on a higher frequency than that. It's bad enough that I decided to get multiple kinds. I think that whatever flavor of commercial no-melt suet I'm putting out it'll have to restock no more often than weekly. I'm not made of suet, after all.

The cardinal was back today, as were all the other birds.
