Yesterday I had to go somewhere, so I went to the train station to re-up my metrocard, and the machine straight up stole $11. I mean, I have the receipt and the metrocard it was "unable to encode", so I can get this sorted out, but it wasn't worth it to walk down to the boat and do it then. (Edit: I can theoretically get this sorted out, but not today - walked down to the boat, nobody in the token booth! Naturally.)

Meanwhile, my sister broke off part of a charger inside her phone. Fun! At least she was able to fix it. The phone, I mean. The charger is a lost cause.

Soda machine at work ate $7 of mine because it was so broken that it couldn't report that it was 80%+ empty. I think every machine on campus that I have seen has a transparent front with the cool robotic arm so you can see your drink being fetched, but not ours!
