Alas, I forgot to stock on cream in advance, or indeed even any milk. I suppose I could make an emergency store run in the morning, but I'm a little concerned about the fact that thus far, all my emergency store runs have involved ice cream.

Date: 2020-06-18 06:42 am (UTC)Also, if you find yourself getting an ice shaver for snowcones, you can use plain shaved ice (NOT too grainy/ slushy) to surprise people who need a bit of surreal disruption in their lives by presenting them with a snowball to throw or wear on their head on a sweltering summer's day, as needed.
I have a couple of wonderful recipes for no-machine, low-touch, no-sourdough bread, if wanted, too.
