The only thing we found in our tree was a cute little pinecone. If you have bad eyesight and aren't wearing your glasses, barn owls apparently look a little like pinecones - just look at that picture! Isn't it cute?

Just S of town, headlights caught this large weird rock in the road, so Russet slowed down. Then the rock's head turned around, we saw its eyes in the headlights, and it flew away.
Very cool! Big ol' probably screech owl.
