Disabling comments because you're scared of discussion. That's rude.
Deleting another person's post because YOU think that THEY do not like the way conversation is going even though THEY have not said anything of the sort... I don't even understand this. Let THEM delete THEIR own post... or admit that YOU are the one with a problem.

*giggles* I was pissed at something that happened in a comm I'm in. I'm not pissed anymore (yay) although I stand by the less inflammatory form of my statements (which runs "I disagree with...."). I really don't hold these statements for personal journals, just communities. So my view is "if you don't like comments on a post in your community, you freeze the threads or delete the comments, you don't delete the post unless you're the person who made it, and since it's a community, not a personal journal, you don't announce policy changes (or nonchanges) without giving any room for discussion". Because those are communities. Not journals.
