So, which is worse, do you think?
Here's something really scary. I don't think things are going to get better if Bush isn't (re)elected. When did you ever hear of anybody, least of all the government, willingly giving up power? What's going to happen is everybody'd talk about how wonderful civil liberties are, and how terrible the trend NOW was (before the election in the future... are you following?)... and nothing is ever going to change.

Part of me thinks it seems ridiculous to imagine that even Bush & Co. would dare shut the election down midway...but then I remember some of the other things that have gone on and realize that it might be something worth worrying about after all. :-p
