High school admissions is eating my brain

And the open houses are really getting started now.

Plus Eva is freaking out over making a portfolio to get into an arts high school. The obvious thing is to work with her dad... but she doesn't want to do that.

My short list of schools, btw, is already longer then the available number of slots. (Twelve, plus - because we have a zoned guarantee program here on Staten Island - we're assured admission into the local school if, for some reason, we're stuck doing second round admissions.)

I wish I'd had an arts-focused high school to go to. And it's unfair to admit to this envy in this context.
