You know what? It's true. I never have seen a waning moon. I always see it either full or waxing (or possibly new, but I don't know about that). MAYBE, I see it a day after the full moon, but that's it. And it's not intentional, either, because every time I notice the moon isn't full anymore, but it's getting fuller, I realize that, yup, once again I've missed it waning.

This month will be different. If I have to get out of bed in the middle of the night, I will. I *will* see the waning moon.

The problem isn't that I'm not around when it's up, the problem is that I forget to look! What I meant is "even if I only remember in the middle of the night, and have to leave my bed to see it, I'll do so".
