Although we didn't start homeschooling until Ana entered 6th grade

I have been helping with homework and studying since she was in kindy.

She's in 9th now. That's nine and a half full years of sitting next to them, supervising as they wrote or did math or whatever.

And yet, to this day, I still can't remember that if I want to see what they're doing, I have to sit in their left side.

What *I* heard about the Hokey Pokey is that it was invented by a DJ as something to kill time on long nights at the roller rink, and eventually he got tired of it and stopped DJing and became a farmer. He came to a horrible end, though: fell into a hay baler and was dismembered. They had a difficult time at the mortuary trying to arrange his body for viewing.
