Friday Five for, um, today

1) Has the weather where you are finally started acting like spring is here?

You mean, being crazy? Rainy and gloomy one day, sunny and hot the next? Today shorts and A/C, tomorrow sweaters and the furnace?

Yup!

2) Do you have any special spring activities or outings planned?

I've been walking the dogs a lot more! (Except in the rain.)

3) Have you started wearing different clothing appropriate to spring?

There are no clothes appropriate to spring. The weather is too annoying for that.

4) What signs of spring are manifesting around you?

Daffodils. So many daffodils.

5) Are there special foods you enjoy preparing and/or eating in the spring?

I take half a Zyrtec with water whenever the pollen count is high, does that count? I'd rather not take the Zyrtec, but I've weighed the risks of rebound hives against the reality of having teary eyes all day long (eye drops and careful rinsing only help so much) and I'll take that chance.

I have gingers coming up, so I know it's spring because of that, but damn, it's 45 this morning! Where the hell is my coat?
