conulyis that it takes itself entirely too seriously at times. I mean, one the one hand, it's Trek, so what do I expect... but on the other hand, it feels like the crew of Discovery doesn't joke around with each other.
And yeah, there's a war, and everybody has PTSD or whatever, and up until recently the closet thing they had to mental health care was Tilly going around being a sweet little cinnamon bun of love (and now she still has to do that because the Admiral is not quite up to par), but still.
That episode where they had the party, that was great. They should definitely do that more often.
