The very dark stairs. Got three steps down before it occurred to me that maaaaaybe it'd be a good idea to turn on the light.

Adventures in Executive Dysfunction!

But! I did remember to make sure we had a (clean, dry, conveniently located) towel before hopping into the shower! (Forgot to grab the pumice stone. Why don't we store that closer to the bathtub?)

Reducing concussions in football is not rocket science but it requires will which is absent. If tackles using the head or contacting the head of the tackled player were sanctioned then they would happen less often. Rugby has proved this. Much stricter enforcement of the "high tackle" law, including the much more frequent use of red and yellow cards has made a difference. Also Head Impact Assessment protocols and post concussion Return to Play protocols can make a difference. The problem in football, like hockey, is that owners think the fans want violence and are prepared to sacrifice players to supply that.

I don't know from Predictive Text - never heard of it before - but I suppose it's robot-written. Too funny!

Yo, at least you remembered to turn on the light before you fell down the stairs; I'd count that as a win.

Seems like there's a ready market for a strip'o'pumice one could attach to the bottom of the shower stall, and maybe another strip around the water control for one's particularly grotty fingertips.

OMG, the stairs I go down at my church for a night class are pretty dark if you don't turn the light on. And I ALWAYS forget to turn it on. Yeah, I totally hear you.

Why don't we store that closer to the bathtub?

The key question.
